Call me Gubi.
My name is William Chiriboga, but everyone knows me as Gubi. I’m a native New Yorker who can’t seem to contain his imagination. My creative training began when I attended the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan then Full Sail University where I obtained a BA in Film.
Since then, I’ve explored every aspect of my creative endeavors and have worked with incredible talent from New York to Seattle. I’ve produced commercials, short films, advertisement campaigns, music videos, fine art photography, product branding and much more. My creativity knows no bounds.
I’m continuously looking to join a team of creatives to help foster their ideas into a reality. Developing projects into fruition has given my life purpose and motivates every one of my adventures.

My devotion and “do-it-right” mentality assures that the finest quality is consistently maintained to actualize your vision. I’m people-centric and surround myself with progressive visionaries who flourish in collaboration. We challenge each other to think deeper about communicating our ideas. Few ideas are new, but by applying unique vision we can explore new ways to engage an audience.
Execution is an art.
Pre-Production
One of my greatest skillsets is outlining a script into a detailed plan of development that brings it to life. Crafting that structure allows me to build the framework that will cradle the vision throughout every phase of the production. My fine attention to detail allows me to communicate objectives to the team of experts being assembled.

Production
My ability to oversee multiple departments at once and keep them to their schedules allows production to flow harmoniously. Communication is key. Expressing the script’s deliverables in a goal oriented manner with clear deadlines to keep the production on track is one of my strongest expertise. My time management skills direct the production to capture all the assets needed during principal photography while maintaining that the costly time is being utilized wisely. My top priority throughout this period is ensuring that the lead creatives acquire the coverage they need for the editing process.

Post-Production
The true craftsmanship of the lead creatives come together through the editing process. My ability to harvest creativity at this stage is what allows the team to flourish at their most imaginative state since the inception of the idea. I find this to be the most delicate of stages. While principal photography may feel like the climax of the production, I believe it to be in this phase. It’s at this point that all the hard work done so far is laid before us and where we truly see the script transform into the most magnificent visual narrative it can be.
